Plant Commissioning and Start Up is in progress.
A major milestone in the commissioning process was achieved when the reactor hydrogen loop reached operating pressure and temperature. The steps involved in reaching this milestone include: 1. Introduce hydrogen to the main reactor loop, 2. Turn on the compression system to begin hydrogen circulation through the reactor loop, 3. Raise the system pressure to operating pressure, 4. Heat the system up to operating temperature , and most importantly 5. Check all of our new piping and equipment to ensure integrity of all components and that the thermal expansion had been properly accommodated by the piping. The system performed properly and was subsequently cooled down, purged and opened for catalyst installation. Catalyst installation is now complete. We are now in preparation of the catalyst and then proceeding to put the plant into service.

Loading Catalyst into the HDO reactors nearing completion.

Commissioning of the plant is in progress with the introduction of natural gas into the fuel supply system and commissioning of the flare system.

Looking at the plant from the flare stack is a beautiful sight.

The flare has been commissioned and is now in service.

The Dynamic Fuels Plant is progressing through commissioning and start up. Lighting the flare is a major milestone in the process.

All plant systems have been turned over to our Operations and Maintenance groups from the Project Team for commissioning and start up. We are in the commissioning process, including the flushing of lines, confirming control system functionality, inventorying the systems, and loading absorbents and catalysts. Here are some recent pictures from the plant.

Loading the absorber system.

Hot oil system is being commissioned.

Hydrogen compression construction completed.

Process heat exchangers getting final insulation installed.

Reactor area looks better with all the scaffold removed.

Fractionation towers ready to go to work.
